Named in legacy of 1992 Winston Cup Champion Alan Kulwicki, the Motorsports Laboratory is one of the most sophisticated and well- equipped hands-on labs in the Southeast. The 5,000 square-foot building provides working space and facilities for the program's Formula SAE, mini-baja, Legends Racing, dragster and other student race teams. Diagnostic research systems within the facility include chassis, engine and shock dynamometers; data acquisition systems including PI and CDS; flow bench scales; tire rate testers; and bump steer gauge.
