Engineering a winner

Cliff Daniels ’10 grew up racing late model cars with a dream to work in NASCAR. That dream led him to UNC Charlotte due to its location in the heart of motorsports country. 

Now, as one of NASCAR’s youngest crew chiefs, Daniels not only is living out his dream of putting to good use his mechanical engineering degree from the William States Lee College of Engineering, he’s blazing a path for future Niners to follow in his steps to fulfill theirs.
