New Alumni Director
We would like to introduce Christine Biela, our new director of Alumni Affairs and External Constituents. Previous to starting work at the Lee College of Engineering in fall 2017, Christine worked in development and alumni relations for The New School and New York University, where she expanded outreach and programming to students, alumni and donors. She has also been active supporting her own alma mater’s alumni activities, volunteering for six years with the University of Michigan alumni club, through roles such as programming chair, nominating chair, and as an advisory board member. Christine aims to not only use these experiences in her work at UNC Charlotte, but also gain insight from alumni so the college can provide more meaningful opportunities to its graduates.
