In February 2022, Pamela Fletcher joined Delta Air Lines as Senior Vice President & Chief Sustainability Officer. In this role she is focused on expanding Delta’s current efforts to build a sustainable future for air travel and help combat the climate change crisis.
Fletcher also serves as a Corporate Director of Coherent Inc. (COHR), a NASDAQ listed company based in Silicon Valley. She was recently named to Motor Trend’s Industry Power List, one of the 100 Leading Women in the Automotive Industry by Automotive News, and one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company, to name a few. Previously, she was named Vice President of the Global Electric & Autonomous Vehicle Programs at General Motors. She led the team responsible for delivering new mobility products globally. For more than a decade this team had operating as a start-up within General Motors to produce new mobility products and solutions. Fletcher’s team was tasked with delivering the portfolio of electrified and autonomous vehicles for the corporation as well as highly complex technologies such as Super Cruise and future products. Some of the products Fletcher’s team was responsible for include the Chevrolet Volt, Chevrolet Bolt EV, and the Bolt Autonomous Vehicle to be deployed in an on–demand rideshare network of autonomous vehicles. The Bolt EV was awarded Motor Trend Car of the Year for 2017, Car & Driver 10 Best, North American Car of the Year, Green Car of the Year and more. This was the team’s second Motor Trend Car of the Year Award, as the Chevrolet Volt won previously.
