Undergraduate Degrees

B.S. in Construction Engineering (new program starting fall 2026)
Integrates civil engineering fundamentals with construction management, emphasizing structural design and construction methods, digital technologies, cost and schedule management, and field-driven problem solving.
*Interdisciplinary program offered jointly with Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering.

B.S. in Construction Management
Focuses on the business, technology and management of construction projects, including estimating, scheduling, safety, and field operations with practical lab experiences.

B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology
Emphasizes applied engineering and technology for civil infrastructure design and construction, including hands-on experience in surveying, CAD, materials testing, and field technology application.

B.S.E.T. in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology, Fire Safety Concentration
Teaches skills in fire behavior, active and passive protection systems as well as the foundational principles of research investigation.

B.S.E.T. in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology, Occupational Safety Concentration
Concentrates on the work environment, health risks and government regulations related to safety in the workplace.
All undergraduate programs include an experiential learning component (internship or co-op) providing you first-hand experience in industry.
Graduate Programs

M.S. in Construction and Facilities Engineering
Prepares you with the specialized skills to oversee complex construction projects and facility operations, focusing on advanced project planning, logistics and long-term operational management.

M.S. in Fire Protection and Safety Management
Provides the necessary knowledge and skills for professionals in fire administration or occupational safety to begin work in many areas of their respective fields and to solve safety problems in a complex technical society.
The Albert School of Construction actively participates in these interdisciplinary PhDs:
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (in partnership with Civil Engineering)
Prepares you for advanced research in civil and infrastructure systems across areas such as structural, geotechnical, transportation, as well as construction engineering.
Ph.D. in Infrastructure and Environmental Systems (in partnership with Civil Engineering and related programs)
Allows you to address complex infrastructure challenges through interdisciplinary research in sustainability, resilience, and data-driven systems, with opportunities to focus on construction and project delivery.
