City of Belmont partners with W.S. Lee College of Engineering on trolley grant

Citizen Portal reported that Belmont City Council unanimously approved a request to serve as the applicant for a federal grant sought by UNC Charlotte to support the Belmont Trolley program, in partnership with the William States Lee College of Engineering. UNC Charlotte will provide the required match and has earmarked $300,000 for the city to administer the award.
