Steve Brinkman

Steve Brinkman currently is employed by Husqvarna Group as Vice President of Research and Development for Consumer Brands Division and Wheeled Category Manager for Husqvarna Brand Division. He started as a project manager in 2005 and has held four other positions in the Research and Development area. Prior to joining Husqvarna, Brinkman worked in the appliance industry for 17 years in various roles for both Maytag and Amana. He began his career as a Reliability Engineer and followed the test profession for eight years before accepting a leadership role in design engineering.

In addition to the field of engineering, Brinkman also served in the National Guard for eight years and owned his own business for a couple of years. He and his wife, Beverly, live in Denver, NC. He has five children. In his spare time, he plays tennis competitively, enjoys motorcycling, photography, and working on home projects.
