Computing

Numerous engineering applications and computer support is available to the Lee College of Engineering through the OneIT – College Support for ENGR group.

These resources and assistance is available to all College of Engineering members. Users can remotely access the Mosaic system via Mosaic Anywhere.

The ENGR Computing Support offices are located in the Smith building (Room 249) and the EPIC building (Room 1245). Both locations provides walk-in and phone support for College of Engineering faculty, staff, and students computing needs.

ENGR Computing has transitioned all of its Mosaic workstations in the ENGR Computing Labs to NinerNET workstations. You may still access the Mosaic Environment by using Mosaic Anywhere until August 8th. At that time Mosaic Anywhere will be decommissioned, but you may still access Engineering Software remotely using Apporto.

Research Computing

University Research Computing (URC) is one of several support groups within OneIT. The mission of this organization is to support the unique computing needs of UNC Charlotte’s diverse community of research faculty by developing shared computing facilities and offering specialized services that would be difficult for individual research groups or departments to provide internally.

Other

OneIT is the central organization that manages the campus network and email system. They offer many other services to UNC Charlotte students and faculty.
