China Collaboration

One of China’s premiere energy solutions and technology research universities, CUMT has more than 50 doctoral programs and 100 master’s programs. Its focus is on mining, the environment, sustainable energy solutions and ecological reclamation.

Lee College of Engineering officials see the partnership as beneficial to its doctoral program in Infrastructure and Environmental Systems, as well as the mission of the news UNC Charlotte Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC).

The UNC Charlotte-CUMT agreement enables select students from CUMT’s master’s programs to complete Ph.D.s in infrastructure and environmental systems or electrical engineering at UNC Charlotte.
