Tau Beta Pi Scholarship

Mechanical Engineering senior Marc Duemmler has won a Tau Beta Pi Scholarship for the 2019-2020 academic year. The $2,000 scholarship was awarded on the basis of academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and the promise of substantial contributions to the engineering profession.

Tau Beta Pi is the world’s largest engineering honor society and the nation’s second-oldest honor society. Membership represents a high honor to engineering students and is awarded on the basis of scholarship and exemplary character.

Duemmler has been a member of Tau Beta Pi since his junior year, and is currently the Recording Secretary for the UNC Charlotte chapter.
