UREC Membership
In 2020, UNC Charlotte opened the University Recreation Center (UREC). The 148,000-square-foot building is the University’s first and only campus facility dedicated solely to health and recreation. UREC offers members of the campus and alumni community multiple levels of dedicated fitness and recreation space designed to steer users toward a lifetime of healthy habits.
Library
Atkins Library continues to be a great educational resource for UNC Charlotte alumni even after graduation! Alumni are also given access to the library through the Friends of Atkins Library card. Benefits include:
- Borrowing up to 6 books for 21 days with 2 renewals
- Invitations to all library events and selected campus events
- Library Newsletters and Annual Reports

Continuing Education
The Office of Continuing Education offers a variety of prep courses for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) and Professional Engineering (PE) licensure exams, in addition to discounts for professional development certificates and programs.

Further Education
The William States Lee College of Engineering strongly believes advanced education is critical in today’s global economy. We encourage those who have the time and interest to consider earning their Master’s or PhD degrees at UNC Charlotte’s College of Engineering. The Graduate School also offers information about applying to graduate school.
Transcripts
The Office of the Registrar provides transcripts of a student’s official UNC Charlotte academic record for both undergraduate and/or graduate course work upon request, either online or in person. Visit the Office of the Registrar’s website.
