In-Person Tours

We offer weekly tours led by our Student Ambassadors, who will guide you through our College facilities and labs. You’ll learn all about our different majors, specialized resources and the first-year experience. We have three tour variations available — find the one that’s right for you, or feel free to check out all three!

High school students attend Manufacturing Day

Organization & School Visits

The William States Lee College of Engineering offers group visits for students in grades nine through twelve. Designed with prospective college students in mind, an average group visit is approximately 2-4 hours long.

For these tours, you will work one-on-one with our Visit Coordinator to plan your visit to campus and address any specific needs. Fill out our request form to book a visit for your organization or school today.

Admitted Student Day & Open House

Admitted first-year students can learn more about why they should choose Charlotte by touring campus, exploring student activities and programs, and connecting with departmental faculty, staff and current students during the spring Admitted Student Day.

Open House

Once a semester, students exploring UNC Charlotte as a college choice can attend the University Open House and explore different engineering disciplines, discover many of our student organizations and learn about our specialized department resources.
