Bridge Programs
We are excited to offer two bridge programs to incoming first-year engineering students before the beginning of the fall semester. The UTOP: Engineering Summer Experience and Engineering FIT programs are excellent opportunities to begin your college experience early, start with a solid engineering math foundation, get acclimated to campus early, and build a support system of peers and staff across campus. Both programs will benefit students who are starting at math levels 1-3.
UTOP: Engineering Summer Experience
- Move in on June 29
- Runs for 6 weeks
- Earn 7 credit hours
- Courses include: MATH 1101 College Algebra with Workshop, ENGR 1110 Academic Soft Skills Enrichment Seminar, and a general education course
- Scholarships available

- Move in on Saturday, August 10th
- Runs for one week
- Earn 1 credit hour; ENGR 0200 Engineering FIT which reviews fundamental math concepts
- No tuition for class; Only pay for prorated dining and housing
- Practice applying math to real-life engineering problems
